Treat Tomorrow, a mini-series to shape chocolate indulgence

 

Barry Callebaut, world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products, initiated Treat Tomorrow, a mini-series and yearly event to discuss pressing topics in the world of chocolate indulgence with its customers, specialists and topic experts.

As a result of COVID-19, Barry Callebaut has had to rethink its traditional way of organizing trade shows around the world. Besides, it was time to create a different and more connected way of talking with customers and brands. The concept is a crossover between Netflix X CNET, we launched 5 mini-series to address the 5 pressing consumer needs to shape chocolate indulgence for the decade to come.

The result is Treat Tomorrow: an online platform, which is live once a year during the event, and has five channels where the most pressing subjects are discussed. After the live event, the 40+ episodes are ready to stream. Each channel is a mini-series in itself that covers health, next-generation indulgence, plant-based, sustainability and climate.

Barry Callebaut's partnership dates back to 2017. For this project AM led the in-and external comms, secured international topic expert hosts and was responsible for all editorial content during the live event, media relations, social media, content creation, planning and execution of this project. It feels very special for us to win The Telly Award in 2022(!)– one of the world's highest honors for video and television content for all screens– in the category ‘Series - Online’.
